The problem seems to be with the access rights to the registry or corruption of the registry keys.authorPOINT makes certain entries to the registry during installation. If it does not show any error message for the no access to registry during installation but fails to make the registry entries, On opening, when authorPOINT tries to read the entries it pops up the error message. Make sure the person have the access rights to write and read the registry for using authorPOINT's current version. Similar is the case, when you open Content Manager, it will not be able to list the presentations.
